[ART] — The Bav-Art: The [silent] chatter

Digital portraits.

Let's revive everyday objects. Let's make them talkative in a simple expression, so they can complain. The wall as a confidant, the floor as a memory, the ceiling as a witness, the useful as essential, the unexpected as a surprise for the mind.

To make exist what we do not see. To give life to what we no longer know how to see.

The Bav-Art: Silent Chatter

Three ingredients:

The texture: Rough. Muddy. Playful.

The expression: A cry, a laugh or a grimace that does not seek to please.

The message: True beauty has holes, blemishes, and lives in our everyday lives.

The 5 cycles of Bav-Art:

The resuscitation of the useless.

1 — Baz-Art

Facing the walls

If walls could talk,

They wouldn't necessarily say what we want to hear.

2 — Bas-Art

Face down

On the ground. They carry us every day.

Humanity where it is least expected.

3 — Bat-Art

top face

On the ceiling.

They tower above us.

They enlighten us.

They are watching us.

4 — Bag-Art

Faced with what is useful

The essential one.

Nothing is useless to someone who knows how to see the soul of things.

Even toilet paper has something to say.

5 — Bah-Art

Faced with the unexpected

The surprise.

It came out of nowhere, by a happy coincidence.

The unexpected makes the mind creative.

If the world collapses and we feel powerless to repair it, we still have the possibility of redesigning our reality from the ruins. Every element can be useful in charting our course toward a new galaxy. This series will likely never be finished. Over time, tires, plastic bags, or other unusual objects and materials may be added to this gallery.

Note to my architectural art director:

Your imagination knows no bounds. Your eyes are free from judgment. You want every object to have a face, a unique expression. So this city will never be finished. As long as there remains a pebble, an old rusty nail, a crack in a wall, there will be work to be done: transforming the mundane into a creative realm. Mom.
